We work with partners across the ecosystem, connecting undervalued media with the demand it deserves. We operate in programmatic advertising, with 70B monthly ad opportunities, 40K+ websites and apps, and 100M+ diverse audiences in our ecosystem. We are crafted in the UK, minority-owned, and building something the industry needs. The role You will build and operate the low-latency services that handle Adorphic's OpenRTB traffic at high volume. This is work close to the metal, on the systems that decide, in milliseconds, which supply is worth a bid. You will own performance and reliability on the hot path, and work with the data and machine-learning teams to serve the Lode signal into live bidding. There is room to grow your scope as the platform and team develop. What you will be doing Build and maintain high-throughput, low-latency services that process OpenRTB bid traffic. Profile and tune the hot path, where microseconds and cost both matter. Implement auction logic, filtering, and traffic shaping in production services. Work with the data and machine-learning teams to serve the Lode signal into live bidding. Keep services reliable at scale, with clear observability and sensible failure modes. Contribute to architecture decisions alongside the founders and the wider team. What we are looking for Three to five years building backend services in production, ideally in a low-latency or high-throughput environment. Strong in a systems language such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++. Comfortable with concurrency, profiling, and performance tuning. Familiarity with OpenRTB or real-time bidding is a strong advantage. Pragmatic about the trade-offs between latency, cost, and complexity. AI-native in how you work, using modern tools as leverage. What we offer A hands-on seat at a company that is genuinely growing and getting strong feedback from the market. A direct line to the founders, and real influence over how the platform develops. Remote working. A competitive salary plus a bonus tied to net revenue growth. Sound like you? Tell us a little about yourself, and point us at anything you are proud of.
