Remote (UK) Full-time, permanent Apply for this role About the role You will build production-grade React and Next.js frontends for AI features that ship into real client products in 4 to 8 week cycles. You will work directly with clients, own the frontend from design to deployment, and use AI pair-programming every day. AI-first spec How AI fits into this role. This role is AI-first by design. You will spend every day pairing with Claude and Cursor, shipping LLM-powered UI patterns (streaming responses, tool calls, agent interfaces), embedding search, and conversational flows. We expect you to use AI to ship two or three times faster, and to know when NOT to use it. Most of our client work is about moving AI experiments into production, so you will be operating at the pointy end of the stack. Tools you'll use daily Claude (pair programming and research) Cursor or VS Code with Copilot Vercel AI SDK LangChain or LlamaIndex for client integrations What you'll do Build production-grade React and Next.js frontends for AI features Implement streaming LLM interfaces (SSE, streaming fetch, useChat patterns) Collaborate directly with clients to turn rough ideas into shipped product Own accessibility, performance, and testing for everything you ship Translate AI output patterns into intuitive UI for non-technical end users Write handoff docs so client teams can own what you built after we leave What we're looking for 3+ years shipping React or Next.js in production Strong TypeScript, modern CSS, and component library experience (shadcn, Tailwind) Either experience with LLM-powered interfaces or strong interest in learning Comfort working directly with clients on scope and design decisions Based in the UK, eligible to work without sponsorship Nice to have Direct experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Vercel AI SDK Contributions to open source AI tooling Design sensibilities, you can work from a Figma or from a rough sketch Experience shipping against fixed-scope two-week diagnostics Ready to apply?
