Careers UX-UI UI Design Lead Position closed Full Clarity are looking for a senior brand and UI designer to provide artistic direction across a range of UX projects including a major project for a UK broadcaster. What we are looking for Full Clarity have been appointed to work on a major digital transformation project for one of the major historic broadcasters in the UK. We are looking for a senior brand and UI designer who is comfortable working in a start-up environment as this will be an innovative and disruptive project located within a major enterprise. In addition, you will also contribute to several other projects, helping to shape the artistic direction and create a consistent, beautiful design system for each digital product. Finally, you will have a major role in the branding of Full Clarity itself. This is a remote position, but there will be lots of in person workshops, and user testing sessions which you will expected to come into the central London offices for. Key responsibilities The core qualities and responsibilities associated with this role include: Designing digital products, admin systems, SaaS platforms, dashboards, bespoke web applications and marketing websites Custom branding and illustrations Moodboards and concept development High quality UI Mockups in Figma (or Sketch) Hand-off to developers Liaising directly with client/project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Developing a series of internal assets, reusable and scalable tools for workshops/Figma wireframes etc Leading the design output of all projects working feeding into the UX Director and delegating tasks to more junior designers where needed Take ownership for the internal Full Clarity brand direction and becomes the brand guardian across all internal and external communication Contribute towards proactive/strategic suggestions to help move the company forwards Skills, qualities and competencies Experienced in conceptualising, modelling, and designing complex, yet innovative experiences Able to create UI Product Design systems Understand the value of homing in on contextual details that help ensure we’re solving for the right problems Able to defend designs with rationale rooted in user needs and business goals Good knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design, branding, digital illustration and design systems High attention to detail and a meticulous dedication to crafting the highest quality products and experiences Confident in articulating your ideas, and great at communicating directly and presenting ideas to clients Fluent with Figma (and Sketch) and used to working in an atomic design i.e symbols/components/instances Be a problem solver i.e someone who can think for themselves and come up with solutions, suggestions and ideas to solve problems and challenges that arise Be self motivated, pro-active and take initiative Take responsibility for your projects and be able to work independently where needed Professional, polite, reliable and trustworthy to hit deliverable deadlines Comfortable prepping and facilitating client-workshops using assets from internal workshop toolkit, and helping to add to/develop the assets over time Detail-oriented and able to lead the value of visual aesthetics across everything we do About us Full Clarity are a team of UX designers, product strategists and technical consultants that specialise in user-centred digital platforms and services.
