Job Opportunity Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand their workforce and recruit a test engineer to join the team to lead testing works in ongoing and future projects in residential and commercial sectors. The job will include: Performing thorough electrical inspections of equipment to satisfy Electricity at Work Regulations Carrying out NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition Reports, Identifying, coding and recording of deviations from BS7671 Completion of NICEIC Certificates Carrying out Emergency Light Testing and recording any deviations from BS5266-1 Assisting with the planning and delivery of commissioning programmes Assist with the quality control testing during first fix stages Maintain monthly accuracy checks of the company test equipment Respond to call outs during normal working hours to our live defect periods Assisting with the installation and commissioning of equipment Working away from home on occasions with accommodation and travel covered by company. Location London and South-East England Our Offer Full time PAYE role, 45 hours per week, 5 days a week Company van and fuel provided – subject to meeting insurance requirements Nest Pension 20 days annual leave + bank holidays Support from a dedicated contracts manager and director Laptop for use of testing software Amtec Fast Test Uniform and branded PPE Ongoing Training and development opportunities Skills Required Full time served electrician NVQ 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in electrical installation IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition Current valid ECS card Ability to read and understand technical documents and electrical drawings Ability to communicate (read, speak & write) in English IT Literate including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Experienced in similar role with minimum 3 years experience City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or City & Guilds 2394 & 2395 or equivalent Full clean driving licence Desirable Skills & Experience Experienced in Electrical Installation Condition Reports Experience using Amtec Fast Test Software Experienced in Emergency Lighting Testing APPLY FOR POSITION First Name * Last Name * Email * Phone Number * Address * Upload your CV Accepted file types: pdf, docx, Max. file size: 1,000 MB.
