About the Position We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Junior Software Engineer who can help us improve our trading infrastructure, research tooling, implement trading strategies and integrate new exchanges. Performance optimizations and algorithmic challenges are integral to our daily life. What We Expect From You Passion for software engineering. You tend to understand more than other engineers at a similar level of experience and consistently dig deeper to build a stronger grasp of the subject. You have some understanding of what makes code perform faster. You enjoy learning new topics for fun, even if you don't have any practical application for it. You have good knowledge of one of the following languages - C#/Java/GO/C/C++. We Would Consider as an Advantage Familiarity with AWS and Linux. Experience in low-level development. Experience and knowledge in quantitative finance or algorithmic trading. What Does Not Matter Years of experience — mastery takes time, but we don’t put arbitrary numbers on it. Your previous industry — finance or trading experience is not required. The bar is high, but don’t be intimidated — different people shine in different ways.
