With broadband speeds of up to 2000Mbps, new Wi-Fi 7 technology, exceptional customer service, and costing no more than current internet packages, customer growth is expected to be exponential . We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. Working closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to play a big part in our transformation plans. The Role · Design, develop, test and implement backend services and integrations using Python and modern frameworks. · Build and maintain frontend applications using PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Angular or Vue. · Lead development projects through the entire lifecycle and mentor junior engineers. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical development issues, providing timely and effective solutions. · Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical development documentation, including user guides, system documentation, and design specifications. · Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, performance and adherence to coding standards. · Work closely with other engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and development process. · Suggest and implement improvements & best practices to the development process, ensuring efficiency and quality in application delivery. · Working closely with the wider Technology team to align system direction and deliver improvements. · Helping shape technical decisions and taking part in solution design discussions. The Candidate A developer with a proven track record in supporting successful development projects, involved in the full development lifecycle from analysis to development. · 5+ years in software development or application development. · Strong skills in at least one programming language - Javascript, Python, PHP. · Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus. · Experience with Wordpress and WooCommerce would be beneficial. · Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Devops etc.) and version control. · Experience of Cloud infrastructures Azure or AWS. · Working experience of API and REST API integrations. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate development risks effectively. · Experience of development and integration of SAAS applications, Hubspot beneficial but not essential. · Knowledge of geopandas, numpy, node or SQL is desirable but not essential. · Experience with GIT and Docker processes. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. · Strong problem solving skills and leadership abilities.
