Senior Java Backend Engineer viktoria horboruk Published: 24 Jun, 2026 Share: We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our client’s fast-growing e-commerce company in the automotive industry. The team is focused on scaling and enhancing a customized SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform that powers a high-traffic online marketplace. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, contributing to backend services, integrations, performance optimization, and the evolution of a customized ecommerce ecosystem. This role requires a proactive engineer with a strong ownership mindset who can effectively translate business needs into technical solutions. The project focuses on a customized SAP Commerce (Hybris)-based ecommerce platform that supports large-scale online operations. The engineering team is working on backend services, APIs, third-party integrations, database optimization, and the gradual adoption of microservices architecture. As a senior member of the team, you will help scale the platform, improve system performance, and contribute to strategic technical decisions while collaborating directly with leadership and business stakeholders.
