Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time Offering a salary of circa. £50,000 (depending on skills and experience) with an attractive bonus scheme, private medical insurance, company pension and laptop we have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Web Developer to join our dynamic team. We are a long standing, profitable lead generation company based in the vibrant city centre of Nottingham specialising in affiliate marketing for the iGaming sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for web development to develop and manage the company’s websites and IT infrastructure, build and test new website features and pages, and liaise with the outsourced backend web development team, produce highly efficient, reliable, responsive web pages optimised for UX, SEO and conversions for our own in-house iGaming affiliate websites. Reporting to the MD you will have the following key areas of responsibilities and tasks: Key areas of responsibilities: Produce highly efficient, reliable, responsive web pages, features and components optimised for UX, SEO and conversion. Collaborate with stakeholders, designers and back-end developers to produce briefs and specifications to deliver high-quality web applications and websites. Test, approve and deploy new features and code changes ensuring efficiency, performance and reliability. Manage the company’s web servers and IT infrastructure. Tasks: Produce highly efficient, reliable and responsive front-end code using HTML5, Twig, SCSS, Javascript, jQuery, Foundation, Gulp. There will be flexibility to introduce other technologies if required, however. Site speed optimisation and technical SEO improvements. Identify and correct bottlenecks and bugs. Produce briefs for outsourced backend development tasks. Produce specifications and documentation. Project manage development and other IT-related tasks. Test and QA outsourced development work. Assist with deployments. Unit tests. Restructure websites and pages. Implement redesigned web pages. Skillset & Persona: Organised, motivated. Project management experience. Positive and constructive attitude to problem solving. Able to understand business objectives. Able to collaborate with others and accept constructive feedback. Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. Experience with Foundation is an advantage. Experience using Git. Experience with backend technologies including PHP, MySQL, Laravel, OctoberCMS. Experience managing Linux web servers is preferred but not essential.
