This role would be suitable for a candidate who has over 2+ years’ experience of commercial web development in PHP frameworks e.g. Magento, WordPress or any other PHP framework. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience of software architecture, design, coding and software development processes for building web applications. Working alongside experienced, established, and certified Magento Developers, you will be working on a number of Magento Open Source, Adobe Commerce (formally Magento Commerce), and Cloud for Adobe Commerce (formally Magento Commerce Cloud) projects. You will be given the opportunity to achieve Adobe/Magento Certifications and increase your Magento knowledge. Benefits: Home working, free office parking, team events, pension options, 22 days leave (excluding bank holidays), flexi-time (core hours 10:00-16:00) Key responsibilities: ● Individually contribute code to projects ● Run the existing deployment pipelines ● Peer review code created by other team members ● Review functional and integration specifications to meet architectural challenges ● Follow best practice guidelines ● Troubleshoot issues and deploy solutions Skills Required: ● 2+ years of commercial software Development ● Experience of Magento 2 Skills Desired: ● Linux, Nginx ● Git-based source control ● MySQL / MariaDb ● JavaScript / HTML / CSS ● Redis, Elastic Search, and other server side technologies an advantage Magium Commerce (a Magento Partner) is a dedicated Magento ecommerce agency focused on Magento solutions.
