What you will do: You will join our design team and help our clients' ideas come alive. Specify features and experiences, research-discuss-create and maintain layouts and interfaces for various products. Working together with a senior designer, you will take responsibility for the product UI, share your knowledge within the team, adopt best practices, trends, and stay up-to-date about where the industry is heading. You will participate in product strategy workshops, assist with determining the scope and feature sets for MVP products. If you are: Interested in designing products from the idea phase to an MVP state, then rolling them out to real users Comfortable engaging with user & customer interviews, observing & documenting their needs and goals Pro-active, creative, motivated, self-learner And a passionate team-player who does not stop at "good enough" With: Experience in creating Mobile and Responsive Web App user interfaces High design standards, creating a clean and maintainable design system for each project you are involved in. Familiarity with the main current UI frameworks and their principles (Material design, iOS, Fluent design, etc.) Knowledge of relevant industry tools (Figma) Understanding and familiarity with both native, and web-based design standards and their possibilities, limitations Knowledge of typography, layout and composition, color theory, grid systems, animations, micro-interaction, and illustration Understanding of the constraints and opportunities within platforms such as iOS, Android, tablets, web applications, and SaaS Systematic and component-based approach for creating user interfaces (Atomic design principles, component/symbol-based UI, overrides, states, etc.) Ability to adapt to client requests, and to 'leave your ego at the door' Being up-to-date with the latest trends in UX/UI design Good written and spoken English Native or fluent Hungarian An even better attitude, communications skills and a motivated personality to learn new skills And maybe some nice to haves: Familiarity with the agile product development cycle Knowledge of UI interaction/microinteraction principles and practices. How long does the recruitment process take, and will I receive a response in any case? Normally the process is within 3-6 weeks. There are opportunities to join these teams or start with a new one for a brand-new product development. Sometimes, however, we are looking to extend the project teams. In each case, we provide detailed information in the job description and during the selection process. How many different projects do team members typically work on at the same time? At VeryCreatives, developers work on one product at a time usually. Sometimes, minor bug fixes or testing come up on other projects, but our primary goal is to have a developer's complete focus on one product only. Designers might work on 2-4 projects simultaneously, while project managers' portfolios can consist of one big or 2-3 smaller or mid-size projects.
