Job Title: PE & Sports Coach Organisation: Amber Valley School Sport Partnership CIO Salary : up to £15 per hour About: Amber Valley SSP CIO are a local non-for-profit organisation working in the borough of Amber Valley and looking to recruit highly motivated, talented sports coaches to engage students in sport and physical activity Amber Valley SSP CIO are committed to providing a quality service to its member schools and adopts a strong approach to safety when working with children. Job Description: We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated Sports Coaches with experience of working within a school environment. As a deliverer you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools leading breakfast, lunch and/or after-school clubs as well as curriculum time PE lessons. The role will include delivering high quality provision to both KS1 and KS2. A good developmental approach will see strong lunch and after school clubs operating which will support schools achieve via competition or increased health benefits. Applicants will be expected to have a flexible approach to working with an ability to engage with students across KS1 & 2 whilst communicating effectively with staff and other stakeholders. Successful applicants will benefit from access to high quality PE planning and resources and will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced PE & School Sport Specialists in order to develop their skills further The successful written applicants will be expected to be interviewed and be observed working with students.
