About this role
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to the design and improvement of user experiences across a range of digital products and services. Key Responsibilities Conduct user research analysis through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviours. Analyse research findings to inform design decisions and create user personas. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility. Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle. Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Facilitate design workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster collaboration and creativity. Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement. Analyse test results and make informed recommendations for design enhancements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design, and incorporate them into the design process. Qualifications and Desired Skills Proven experience (5+ years) as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software Experience in the transportation and logistics, manufacturing and distribution, and e-commerce sectors is highly desirable. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development practices is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certification in UX/UI design, such as from Nielsen Norman Group, Interaction Design Foundation, or similar organisations, is a plus. Additional certifications in relevant fields (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Web Design) will be considered advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities and thought process is required for application.
