About this role
Role: Data/Test Analyst With excellent numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail you’ll be responsible for testing telecom networks and analysing call results to provide service/product assurance and to identify issues that can impact billing accuracy and regulatory compliance. Working methodically and with good time management you’ll generate customer reports to present data results in a transparent and quantitative manner with any key issues summarised for our customers. Ideally, you’ll have a relevant technical Degree or equivalent qualification(s) and experience in testing or data analysis, with a keen interest in technology. With excellent IT skills you’ll use our bespoke testing software following internal training to test customer network products. Role type : Full time, Permanent Location: UK - Barnstaple, North Devon (split office and remote working based role) The role and what you will need to succeed: Demonstrate a detailed understanding of our customer products and services Review and understand customer test requirements and create test plans Generate billable and non-billable telecoms usage using our bespoke test software Raise and log tickets for all issues, findings and discrepancies within (SLA) timescales Work closely and proactively to communicate with internal colleagues to deliver KPI's Follow company processes and procedures to provide a consistent and high-quality test service Be innovative and proactive to put forward suggestions for solution improvements Where required, travel to customer sites for meetings and support remote customer calls Experience, Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to analyse and interpret data and effectively deliver accurate results and reports Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present results to customers Excellent IT skills including Microsoft products, particularly Excel - use of filtering, conditional formatting, pivot tables Basic knowledge of databases, preferably SQL Server Proven experience/familiarity of Android devices Motivated and a keen desire to learn new technologies Commercially aware of contracts, billing and service agreements Work efficiently and effectively on individual and team projects An understanding or experience of test methodologies Qualifications: Technical degree preferred or A-Levels Testing or data analysis qualification(s) Special requirements/additional Information: The role is split between office based work (in Barnstaple, UK) and remote working options Full UK Driving Licence and own transport Benefits: Competitive salary Incentive structure with annual company and individual performance bonus targets Loyalty awards Private Health Care and Pension Scheme Structured career progression opportunities Full in-house training program Fun team building days Opportunity to build a career with a North Devon based company and work with the top tier Telecom global companies If you have the skills and experience to make this role a success and would like to join our growing team, we would love to hear from you.
