Controls Hardware Designers A prospective Hardware Design candidate must possess the ability and experience to design control systems from scratch. Knowledge of industry standards including NFPA, NEC, ISO, & NEMA is critical. Circuit design experience must include the ability to design redundant E-Stop circuits, drive circuits and incorporate various PLC controllers and I/O systems into the application. Your skill set must include the following engineering capabilities; transformer sizing, power supply sizing, wire sizing, Bill of Material development, heat calculations, etc. Knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory; E-Pan is a plus. Fluid Power Design experience is also a plus. Controls Software Programmer A prospective Software Programmer needs at least 5 years experience designing PLC software. The ability to structure and write logic from scratch is mandatory. Experience with at least some of the following packages is necessary; Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Siemens Step 7, Modicon, Telemechanique, Omron, Mitsubishi, FloPro & SFC. Development of logic is done at our office but machine debugging and installation needs require us to travel to our customer’s facility. Travel is required. Controls Hardware Detailer A prospective Detailer needs at least 2 years experience with detailing controls systems in AutoCAD, E-Plan is a plus. Typical responsibilities would include I/O layouts, panel layouts, Bill of Material creation, and the ability to check and cross reference the controls package.
