Vacancies currently available at Zenitel Open positions Test Engineer / Test Technician - Norway Are you a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunications, or do you have a few years of experience and are looking for new challenges? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Test Engineer / Test Technician to join the Test Department within our Maritime & Energy business unit in Horten, Norway. In the Test Department, you will work with advanced communication systems used on ships, offshore installations, and wind farms around the world. In collaboration with the Project Department, the team is responsible for planning, design, configuration, testing, and customer handover of these systems. You will become part of a highly skilled professional environment offering excellent development opportunities and a wide variety of tasks across departments and systems. Our products and solutions must operate reliably in all environments, at all times, and in critical situations they may ultimately help save lives. Your responsibilities will include: Configuring, programming, and testing customer-specific systems Troubleshooting and quality assurance prior to delivery Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) before delivery and together with customers Documenting test results and deliveries Verifying technical data and documentation Providing customer support and remote services For those interested, there are also opportunities for travel related to system verification, commissioning, and service activities at customer sites. We develop and deliver both internal and customer training courses on our systems. If you have experience as an instructor, or find this area interesting, you will eventually have the opportunity to contribute in this capacity as well. Responsibilities will expand in line with your growing competence and experience. Qualifications Required: Trade certificate, technical college degree, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field Preferred, but not required: Relevant experience is an advantage, but we also welcome applications from recent graduates Interest in, and preferably knowledge of, telecommunications and communication systems Knowledge of IP networking and network switches is an advantage English is our working language, and to succeed in this role, you must be proficient in both Norwegian and English, verbally and in writing.
