Housing Asset Data Analyst
About this role
Oversee financial performance, including budget planning, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets. Represent the council’s interests with external partners, contractors, and stakeholders. Contract information for the Building Control Interim Lead: Competitive Rate: £50 PAYE per hour or £66.65 Umbrella per hour. Flexible Working: Hybrid working arrangements available (to be discussed at interview). Contract Duration: Initial 3-month assignment with an immediate start available. Location: Northamptonshire Requirements: Qualifications: A relevant professional degree or diploma in Building Studies, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Building Surveying. Registration: Must be a Registered Building Inspector at an appropriate level with the Building Safety Regulator. Experience: Extensive experience as a Building Control Interim Lead or Surveying Manager at a senior level, preferably within a public sector or Local Government environment. Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and financial management skills, with the ability to manage complex contracts and projects. Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to handle politically sensitive matters. Compliance: A solid understanding of equal opportunities, safeguarding, and safe working practices. Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to attend office locations and site visits at least three days a week.
