Programme at a glance: A bursary payment of up to £9,250 per academic year up to a maximum of four years Paid summer placements each year of your studies at our London, Bristol, or Edinburgh office The opportunity to gain work experience in various departments including IT, Finance, Marketing, Customer Services, Commercial Operations and more Advice, support and guidance from a dedicated Mentor during your placement and academic year The opportunity to apply for a permanent job when you graduate if there are opportunities available Placements We run a 12-month placement year programme from July to June. We offer a variety of placements but whatever team you join us in, our application process is simple. To apply, submit your CV and answer a few short questions via video, that's it. We are interested in you as a person, so we won't make you sit through any psychometric tests, but this means your initial application needs to impress our recruitment team. If it does we will invite you to a telephone or video interview with our recruitment team. If successful, you will then be invited to an assessment centre. Your role We welcome applications from talented, highly motivated undergraduates each year in a variety of teams including: Business strategy and innovation IT security MI and insights Risk analysis Software engineering Our programmes go above and beyond just the day job. You’ll be gaining valuable experience in your chosen business area while also being given the space and opportunity to challenge yourself and develop your skills. Learning and development Our early careers learning & development hub helps you further uncover your potential and develop valuable skills for your final year studies and beyond. Our programme includes monthly sessions where you’ll touch on topics such as communication, presentation skills, building your brand and growth mindset. We’ll also give you regular opportunities to meet Motability Operations senior leaders through lunch and learn sessions. You’ll have the chance to ask about their career paths and understand more about Motability Operations as a business. The project You’ll have dedicated time away from your day job to work with your cohort of placement students to solve a challenge we set you. You’ll have to work as a team to think creatively and come up with solutions to achieve your targets. The project allows you the space to challenge yourself in a safe environment and build strong connections with your fellow placement students helping you gain vital skills for your future career.
