East West Rail is a nationally significant railway project which aims to deliver much-needed transport connections for the vibrant communities between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. Together these communities contribute around £111 billion to the national economy each year.EWR is one of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects, which the government committed to delivering in full in the Autumn 2024 Budget, and again in the 2025 Spending Review as part of its ambition to unlock the potential of the Oxford to Cambridge Growth Corridor.EWR is being championed by the Government as a key driver to economic growth leading to a potential £78 Billion boost to the UK economy: supporting new towns, housing, and regeneration.Drive a Major Enterprise TransformationWe’re embarking on a programme which will enable EWR Co to migrate to a modern, integrated ERP solution that will link Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll as well as the wider construction programme. We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Lead to take the helm.This is a high‑impact role for someone who has delivered multiple ERP programmes end‑to‑end and knows what it takes to move an organisation from ‘requirement identification’ to ‘go‑live’ and beyond. You’ll influence strategic decisions, modernise critical systems, and help embed new ways of working that deliver measurable business benefits.Team & reportingYou’ll initially report to the Director of Finance, with the line moving to a new Head of Transformation once appointed. While the role starts without direct reports, we expect the team to grow as the programme scales. End‑to‑end delivery of our enterprise‑wide ERP implementation.Programme planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management.Governance, reporting and assurance to senior leadership and boards.Organisation‑wide process redesign and standardisation.Stakeholder engagement across executive, operational and delivery teams.Data migration, systems integration and testing oversight.Cutover, go‑live and post‑implementation stabilisation.Benefits realisation and performance tracking.
