Developer (WordPress) Location: Taunton, Somerset Type: Full-time / Freelance Salary: 27k-35k DOE We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer specialising in WordPress to join our innovative team in Taunton. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive websites that deliver exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in front-end technologies will contribute to our clients’ digital success. Responsibilities: WordPress Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimised for performance. Front-End Technologies: Utilise HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive layouts and interactive features that enhance the user experience. Collaboration with Designers: Work closely with designers to translate design concepts into functional and engaging websites, using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Client Interaction: Manage client communications effectively, providing updates, gathering requirements, and offering solutions both over the phone and in face-to-face meetings. Website Migration and Onboarding: Assist in migrating and onboarding websites, ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to best practices. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure websites are functional, secure, and compatible across various browsers and devices. Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, addressing issues and implementing updates as needed. Knowledge Sharing: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team to foster continuous improvement. Required Skills: Proven expertise in WordPress development, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in website development.
