The role You will build and improve products across the full software lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues from engineering and the wider business, you will turn requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions — from API and data-model design to frontend implementation, deployment and operation. What you will do Build features end-to-end across the backend and frontend, from API design through deployment. Develop clean, maintainable and well-tested code and participate in code reviews. Investigate and fix bugs, performance issues and production incidents. Contribute to our development, testing and deployment workflows, including CI/CD and observability. Document your work clearly so that others can understand and build on it. What you bring At least three years of professional experience in software development, ideally in a product-focused environment. Strong backend experience in Go, or in another statically typed language such as Java, C# or Rust, together with a clear willingness to learn Go. Solid experience with a modern JavaScript framework; Vue 3 is preferred, while experience with React or Angular is also welcome. Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations and query performance. Experience building and consuming HTTP APIs, plus some exposure to message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar technologies. Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including the ability to investigate failing deployments and interpret logs and events. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing as part of your regular development workflow. The ability to break business requirements into a workable plan and communicate technical trade-offs clearly. Fluent written and spoken English. Nice to have Experience with Python and Django. Cloud experience with GCP, for example GKE, Cloud SQL or IAM, or comparable experience with AWS or Azure. Experience with Terraform or GitOps tooling such as Argo CD. Experience in music publishing, rights management or another rights- or contract-intensive domain. Experience with mobile development, for example React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform or native mobile technologies. Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch or data pipelines. German or Spanish language skills. What we offer The opportunity to join an independent, family-owned business with more than 75 years of history. A strong, collaborative team and a friendly working atmosphere. Fresh lunch every day at our Berlin office, if you wish. Access to concerts, industry events and guest-list opportunities. We offer a working environment that is open to everyone, regardless of cultural background, ethnicity, origin, nationality, religion or belief, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, sex or sex characteristics. Diversity is part of our DNA and shapes our vibrant company culture. We are growing as a team of individuals united by a common goal: supporting talent of all kinds in bringing their wishes, goals and dreams to life. Is this the challenge and working environment you are looking for?
