Join Us in Building the Future… This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the European timezone. Although our HQ is in Lausanne, we welcome applicants from all over Europe! Responsibilities: Identify, develop, and deploy algorithms to solve business problems in a fast-paced environment. Use large and complex data sets to derive impactful business insights. Measure accurately the impact of various initiatives. Utilize data to inform business decisions and prioritize development based on business impact. Provide data-based solutions and automation to optimize operations and user experience. Enhance business initiatives by identifying weaknesses, opportunities, and challenging uninformed decisions. Contribute to SwissBorg’s growth through recruitment efforts: interviewing, onboarding, etc. Transform data analysis into intuitive and easily communicable business cases. Qualifications: 3 years of experience as a data scientist or in an equivalent/relevant role. Hands-on experience solving real problems using statistical methods, machine learning, and mathematical computing. Proficiency in SQL and Python for managing and processing large volumes of data. Strong knowledge of statistics, time series analysis, and modeling. Willingness to continuously improve and challenge existing knowledge. Excellent visualization skills and ability to present results clearly and concisely. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders to adjust plans. Proactive and independent investigation of answers to business problems. Team player open to supporting/mentoring colleagues for team success.
