About this role

Developer (Workflow & Reporting) Lancashire Offices, Preston and Blackburn with Hybrid working pattern IT Technology Team / Development | Reporting to the Development Manager It is not very often we hire a developer, in fact this might be the first time in the last 4 years?! Therefore, we are pleased to have created a new role working in the development team of the Technology Department. This role is designed to grow into a full developer position, with hands-on experience across workflows, reporting, and system improvements. Day to day you will be involved in things like.. Supporting development of workflow-based systems Troubleshooting issues and support fixes Working closely with colleagues across the business Contributing to improving processes and systems Testing new functionality You are someone who is... CuriousCommitted to a long term career in IT and development Understanding of basic programming concepts A problem solver Happy working in a team Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines Willing to learn It would be a bonus if you have... Exposure to workflows, reporting, or databases Any coding or scripting experience Power BI / SQL or similar tools M365 Experience Legal sector or case management experience (e.g. Proclaim) In this role you are learning core development skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
