As Hydeas expands its technology division, we are recruiting a highly skilled Full Stack / API Developer to lead the development of integrated systems, including POS solutions, membership dashboards, and web-based business tools. Role Overview The Software Developer (Full Stack / API Developer) will work closely with the Web Development Lead and Product Manager to build scalable digital systems that integrate seamlessly with clients’ workflows. You will design and maintain clean, secure, and efficient backend logic while ensuring smooth front-end performance across platforms. This is a core technical role for a self-driven, creative problem-solver who can transform business requirements into robust, functional applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop full-stack web applications with responsive interfaces and scalable backends. Build and manage RESTful APIs for system integrations (POS systems, CRM, dashboards, etc.). Implement secure authentication and data management workflows. Develop dashboards and analytics tools for internal and client-facing platforms. Collaborate with designers (UI/UX) and product managers to refine requirements and improve user experience. Integrate third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, authentication, SMS/email systems). Conduct performance testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of existing systems. Maintain clean, well-documented code in version control (Git). Deploy and manage applications using modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar). Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to software development and automation. Requirements BSc/HND in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in full-stack or API development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js, React, or Vue), Python (Django/Flask), or PHP (Laravel). Deep understanding of API architecture, database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and version control (Git). Experience with RESTful API integration, JSON, and OAuth2 authentication. Familiarity with POS systems, dashboards, or membership management tools is a strong advantage. Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. Ability to translate business logic into technical architecture. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.
