Testing Engineer Job Role: Testing Engineer Salary: Up to £35,913 (dependant on experience) Reports to: Warehouse Manager Location: Chandlers Ford/Romsey Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week plus overtime as required The Company Established in 2001, Aqua design, supply and install innovative temperature control solutions, across the UK. Our Sales, Hire and Service teams support customers from every industry sector, whether they are looking to purchase, hire or maintain equipment. Products include process chillers, adiabatic, dry air & free coolers, cooling towers, temperature control units, boilers, air conditioning units and portable heaters. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated person to join our teams at Aqua. Main Duties: Verify correct operation of refrigeration circuits and identify abnormal operating condition Carry out full functional testing of hire chillers Complete electrical safety checks and visual inspections Help maintain a clean and safe environment Record test results, faults, repairs and outstanding issues accurately Prioritise workload efficiently to increase the productivity within the test bay Escalate major faults immediately to the Warehouse Manager Provide technical guidance to warehouse staff and other engineers where required Ensure all chillers released for hire meets the company’s quality and safety standards Essential Skills & Person Specification: F gas certification Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable adjustment. Heavy lifting and standing / walking for long periods of time. Forklift license and experience beneficial but not essential. Basic knowledge of Outlook Willingness to work overtime when necessary Good time keeping and time management skills Good communication skills and ability to work well as a team and on your own.
