You'll work across our core product surfaces, and depending on where the need is greatest, that could include how developers get from first signup to real production usage, as well as deeper platform workflows like debugging, evaluation, and observability.The common thread is developers doing technical, often high-stakes work, and needing an interface that gets out of their way. You'll partner with engineering, product, and other designers to figure out where the friction is and design your way out of it.*This position will be onsite in either New York, NY or San Francisco, CAWhat you'll do:Build a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain's products through interviews and feedback sessions so your design decisions are grounded in real behavior and address user needsOwn the full design arc on your features — from early concepts to polished, shipped workWork across a range of product areas and design initiatives as priorities shiftCollaborate closely with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to ship new features quicklyWhat you'll bring:3+ years of fullstack product design experience ideally working on developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS productsSharp eye for detail, with a strong foundation across user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craftA track record of solving hard interaction design problems, particularly around dense technical dataData-driven decision making - you are comfortable driving user research, both with internal stakeholders and external customers, and using what you learn to inform your designsYou take initiative and ownership of tasks end-to-end Strong technical acumen - you collaborate effectively with engineers to design things that are both well-crafted and feasibleStart-up DNA - you thrive in fast-paced, highly dynamic environments Annual salary range: $145,000-$185,000Compensation Philosophy:We offer competitive compensation that includes base salary, variable compensation for relevant roles, meaningful equity, benefits, and perks.
