Senior Optimizely (Episerver) Developer 6+years Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Optimizely Developer with 6+ years of experience in building and maintaining content-rich, enterprise-level web applications using the Optimizely (formerly Episerver) platform. You will lead the implementation of CMS and Commerce solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, high-performance digital experiences for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain CMS and eCommerce solutions using Optimizely CMS/Commerce and the Microsoft .NET tech stack. Customize and extend Optimizely components to meet business requirements. Collaborate with architects, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, user-friendly web applications. Lead project modules and mentor junior developers on best practices, code quality, and Optimizely standards. Integrate third-party services and APIs including personalization engines, analytics, CRM, and payment gateways. Implement SEO, accessibility, and performance best practices. Troubleshoot issues and support deployments across environments. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, sprint planning, and estimations. Required Skills: 6+ years of experience with .NET web development, including C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS/Commerce (formerly Episerver). Strong knowledge of Optimizely features such as personalization, search (Find), workflows, and content modeling. Proficient with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular). Strong experience with SQL Server and LINQ. Proficient in Git and DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Familiarity with caching strategies, CDN integration, and application performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have: Optimizely Certification (CMS/Commerce) highly preferred. Experience with headless CMS or Optimizely Content Cloud. Familiarity with Azure cloud services and PaaS hosting. Knowledge of Search & Navigation (formerly Episerver Find). Experience integrating marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo). Prior experience working in a digital agency or enterprise environment.
