UK/Senior SAP BTP Architect Senior SAP BTP Architect / SAP Cloud Solution Architect Job Description A highly accomplished SAP BTP Architect with deep expertise across SAP core systems and modern cloud-native architectures. Combines strong SAP foundation with advanced knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, delivering scalable, secure, and future proof solutions aligned with Clean Core principles. Trusted to design, govern, and deliver complex side-by-side and hybrid SAP architectures, enabling business innovation without compromising system stability or upgradeability. Brings pragmatic, real-world architectural judgment gained from extensive exposure to diverse SAP implementations and transformation scenarios. Experienced in leading and governing large-scale global SAP transformation programs, coordinating cross-functional and cross-regional teams across EU, UK, Middle East, and APAC. Key Responsibilities • Define and own SAP BTP reference architectures for enterprise SAP landscapes • Design and enforce Clean Core extensibility strategies • Architect side-by-side and hybrid extensions for SAP S/4HANA and ECC • Design and implement solutions using: o SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry & Kyma runtimes) o CDS Views, RAP, AMDP o SAP BAS, ADT, Eclipse • Lead integration architecture using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) • Define security and identity architecture using IAS, XSUAA, OAuth2, Principal Propagation • Establish DevOps, CI/CD, and transport strategies for SAP BTP landscapes • Provide architectural governance and technical leadership across delivery teams • Act as trusted advisor to enterprise architects, program leadership, and senior stakeholders Core Skills & Expertise • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) • Clean Core & SAP Extensibility Models • Side-by-Side & Hybrid Architectures • SAP Integration Suite • Cloud Foundry & Kyma • CDS Views, RAP, AMDP • SAP CAP (Node.js / Java) • SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) • SAP Identity & Security Architecture • Global SAP Landscape Governance Apply Today View on Indeed.
