About this role

Working from our Pune studio, you’ll collaborate with talented teams across India and the UK to develop games for console, PC and mobile, across a variety of genres. As part of the Sumo Digital family, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Microsoft, Sony, Apple, Nintendo and Sega. We’re now looking for experienced Programmers who want to take on challenging problems, build robust systems and contribute to games that reach audiences around the world. If you’re ready to take your programming skills into an exciting global game development environment, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities Write and be accountable for high-quality source code. Work with designers to implement game features to established specifications. Liaise with Quality Assurance to fix bugs. Ensure the game is compliant with each platform owner’s technical requirements. What you'll bring with you: Must have skills Proficiency in C++, with proven commercial experience. Practical experience with 3D programming and mathematics. Working experience in game development. Excellent communication skills. Worked on at least one released game and experience with multiple current generation game engines (UE5, Unity, CryEngine, Source etc.). Experience working with source control systems. It would be great if you also have: 3-5 years’ experience in the games industry. Contributed to shipped titles on console games. C#, JavaScript or Python programming experience. Graphics systems (3D graphics, animation, camera control, lighting, materials and shaders) knowhow. Experience working as per guidelines for the relevant game platforms. Knowledge of the requirements placed on gameplay code by a multiplayer networked game. What's in it for you?
