How this is measured

Region segments are the employer's registered-office region (Companies House), not the job's location. ATS workplace_type first, regex fallback (application-form questions such as "Are you happy to work from home? * Please choose …" are ignored, and on a whole page only evidence near the advert's own title counts, not other jobs' listing cards). value = hybrid + remote % of ALL job adverts: an advert that states no pattern counts as not offering one, so the value is a floor. The denominator is deliberately every advert — on-site adverts rarely say "on-site", so a share of only the pattern-stating adverts skews remote (84.7% on the 1,000-company trial). value_json: remote_pct / hybrid_pct / onsite_pct of all adverts, stated_pct = share of adverts stating any pattern, and the split among pattern-stating adverts (stated_flex_pct, stated_remote_pct, stated_hybrid_pct, stated_onsite_pct, averaged over the stated_employers with at least one). Employer-weighted: each employer's share of its own adverts is computed, then averaged across employers, so every employer counts once however many adverts it posts; n = employers with a job advert (min n applies to employers), value_json.adverts = adverts behind them. Site-wide boilerplate ("work remotely or from our offices") therefore moves one employer, not every page it is printed on. Adverts: job pages whose linked title the title classifier settled as a real job (an "Apprenticeships", "Early Careers" or "Graduate programme" page is not an advert); pages whose title is not classified yet are left out, so coverage grows as titles are classified. Adverts whose own stated posted / closing date is more than 180 days old are stale and left out.
