Diversity, equity and inclusion programmes are being cut back in the US and argued over in the UK. On their own careers pages, most UK employers say nothing: 86.5% of 74,485 employers carry no diversity, equality or equal-opportunities statement at all.
Mentions of LGBT+ staff are rarer still. 0.5% of employers say they include LGBT+ people, through a staff network, Stonewall membership or by naming them among the people they welcome.

How we measured it
We read every careers page and job advert we hold for each employer. A diversity statement is an equal-opportunities, diversity, equality or inclusion commitment; an LGBT+ mention is a staff network, Stonewall membership or LGBT+ people named among those the employer welcomes (services for LGBT+ people do not count). This is what employers publish, not what they practise.
Most employers still say nothing on their careers pages about who they welcome. Silence is a statement, and it is measurable.
